House Cleaning Tips For An Orderly Room
A clean and orderly room is an important key in relaxation. It will not only improve the appearance of your room but your lifestyle as well. Following these suggested tips will make it easier for you to maintain an orderly room.
1. Do not throw things on the floor and leave them laying around, clean the room by putting your things on their respective places. When changing clothes put dirty clothes in the laundry basket and hang up clothes that will be worn again.
2. Getting dressed in the bathroom or in your walk in closet should be done, gives you easy access to your clothes and accessories. Before getting dressed, plan out what to wear, pants or skirt, blouse or shirt, shoes and bags, to avoid changing from one thing to another. This will save you more time and energy both when getting dressed and when cleaning the room later.
3. Organize your clothes by hanging them according to their type and color so you can easily decide what to wear on a particular day. Placing your clothes depending on what occasion or event you will be attending is also helpful. Frequency of use must also be considered in sorting out your clothes to avoid pulling out everything and messing up your closet every time you get dressed.
4. The same should be done with your accessories. Bags should be place together in a particular place, organized according to their kind, color and use so you can easily figure out what to select. Sorting out your shoes and belts in a well organized manner will also help achieve an orderly room.
5. Boxes, plastic containers and recycled cans of different sizes and shapes can be use as storage. You can label them according to what they contain or put them together depending on the things inside them. Or you can leave them open for easy storing and to easily find what you need just by looking inside them.
6. Throw away the things that do not belong in your room or anything that you do not need. You may need a side table or a storage bin to place your magazines, mail, drinking glasses or coffee mugs upon. These table or bins should be placed by the doorway so you can conveniently take them out of your room.
7. Easy trashing. Line your waste basket with a trash bag, this way your trash can be handily thrown outside in the garbage can and you do not have to repeatedly wash your waste basket. Just make sure to put another trash bag in your waste basket when you remove one.
8. Plan a regular time to clean your room. Make it a few minutes everyday and thoroughly when you have more time. And if you cannot do certain things like clean the carpet or wash your comforters, hire a service that can so the job is not put off.
